The Encyclopedia

In the mid-1980s, General Choi first published the 15-volume hardcover encyclopedia set.  Later, he also published a condensed encyclopedia in a single-volume hardcover.  The 1999 editions of both the set and the condensed encyclopedia are the final editions of each.  The 1999 5th edition of the condensed encyclopedia is the final publication with the involvement of General Choi, and it is considered the  most-accurate, authoritative work.
